What We're aBOUT AND hOW wE GOT sTARTED...
We'd love to say that we traveled the world searching farms, handling each bean, sharing and toiling side by side with coffee farmers and exporters. But no, nothing that exotic. Our small café in Gardiner, NY was fortunate enough to have a remarkably discerning audience. Discussions of flavor profile, aromas, texture, acidity and astringency, to name a few, filled the morning rush. We couldn't help but find ourselves customer-driven toward great coffees.
It worked: we roast only the best and we serve the finest fresh-roasted coffee. Our customers’ favorite house coffee for three years running remains Ethiopian, with its strong, fragrant-rich and full-bodied profile, and Nicaraguan, medium roasted, fruity and tart, with a balanced “clean” flavor.
Coffee is our forte and we want it to be yours too. Enthusiastic Joe was built on the belief that coffee is more than a mere drink; it's a way of life. Each bean is carefully selected for you, the coffee drinker, at the perfect moment of maturation, bagged, ground, and brewed into heavenly elixir.
